Graphic guide and wayfinding strategy for a proposed bicycle network

Using bold, accessible graphic design, the Bicycle Lafayette Master Plan brings clarity and cohesion to a proposed network of seven protected bicycle routes spanning nearly 50 miles. Organized through a color-coded loop-and-spoke system, the design simplifies navigation while supporting the plan’s goals of equity, safety, and connectivity. Visual elements for both the master plan publication and the proposed wayfinding were developed to be intuitive, inclusive, and scalable—reinforcing the system’s role in linking neighborhoods, encouraging ridership, and shaping a more resilient Lafayette, Louisiana.
